The most anticipated update to Analogue 3D is here. v1.3.0 introduces “Memories”, Analogue's save state system, to all 900+ N64 cartridge games. Flashcart compatible, improved Controller Pak swapping, and even SummerCart64.

The most anticipated update since the launch of Analogue 3D has just dropped. The 3DOS v1.3.0 release introduces Memories - Analogue's signature save states system - across the entire Nintendo 64 library.

What is Memories?

Memories is the save system ure and Analogue game state reloading, first introduced on the Analogue Pocket in 2022. The idea: save your progress at any moment, without depending on an official save point or Controller Pak. You reload exactly where you left off, no matter the game.

On Analog 3D, Memories now covers the 900+ N64 cartridge games-official, regional, and homebrew. Each title retains its own Memories slots independently of the others.

Flashcart compatibility confirmed

This is one of the most important confirmations in this update: Memories works with games loaded via flashcart. The SummerCart64 has been specifically tested and validated - each game launched from the SC64 menu has its own separate Memories. Controller Pak handling has also been improved, with better compatibility during in-game swapping .

How to update

The 3DOS v1.3.0 update is available via the 3D Analogue built-in update system. Go into your console settings, check for updates, and follow the instructions. The process takes less than two minutes.
