EmuCR lists the latest emulator build compilations every day. Focus on what was released today and this week: Dreamcast, GBA, PS Vita, Saturn, great activity in the community.

style="user-select: auto;">Every day, EmuCR compiles and releases the latest development builds of open-source emulators. It is the thermometer of community activity. Here's what's released today, April 2, 2026, and some notable builds from the week.

🟠 Flycast, Sega Dreamcast / Naomi / Atomiswave

auto;">The April 1st Git build is available. Flycast has become the absolute reference for Dreamcast, Naomi (arcade) and Atomiswave emulation. It is multi-platform (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, Raspberry Pi) and regularly updated. If you want to play Crazy Taxi, Soul Calibur or Jet Set Radio in full form, this is the one.

🟡 mGBA, Game Boy / GBA

Build Git from April 1st also. mGBA is the reference GBA emulator for years, precise, fast, available everywhere. Stable version 0.10.5 dates to March 2025, but nightly builds continue to improve accuracy and fix edge bugs. Essential for GBA nostalgics.

🔵 Vita3K, PlayStation Vita

Git Build of the day. Vita3K is the experimental PS Vita emulator, still in active development, but making steady progress. For the moment the commercial games are not running yet, but the homebrew in .vpk format are working. A project to follow closely for fans of Sony's small console.

🔴 Ymir,Sega Saturn

Build Git of the day as well. Ymir is a Saturn emulator still in construction, but whose progress is remarkable. The Saturn remains one of the most difficult consoles to emulate because of its 7 processor architecture, each improvement is a technical victory.

All of these builds are available on EmuCR.com, the reference site for emulator builds. Warning: these are development builds, potentially unstable. For a stable experience, favor the official releases on GitHub of each project. style="user-select: auto;">Source: EmuCR.com, builds 02/04/2026
