Delta 2.0: the iOS emulator adds Sega Genesis, RetroAchievements and a new look
Announced on October 22, 2026, Delta 2.0 is described by its developer as its biggest update yet. On iPhone and iPad, the emulator now handles Sega Genesis (Mega Drive), with new controller skins and support for Action Replay and GameGenie. It also gets a "Liquid Glass" design that scales from the small screen up to the iPad, plus iPhone Duo support (pose-specific skins, Split View multitasking, DS games pausing when the device is folded).
RetroAchievements arrives, with sign-in, Hardcore mode and progress shown when a game starts. The library gains "Recently Played" and "Favorites" pages, skins can be animated (with an official GBA skin) and third-party skins are supported. Other additions include color palettes for Game Boy games, per-game fast-forward speeds, audio options, bulk deletion of save states, and fixes for SNES audio crackling and NES black screens.
Experimental features
Delta 2.0 also offers custom per-system filters and reading/writing save files on physical cartridges through the Epilogue GB and SN Operator readers, both still experimental. To install it, use the App Store or the official AltStore source, and check Delta's FAQ to get started. The price was not stated in the source.
