Blaze unveils the Evercade Nexus DOOM Edition, limited to 3,000 units

Blaze officially unveiled the Evercade Nexus DOOM Edition on August 7, 2026, a limited version of its new cartridge-based retro console themed around id Software's cult franchise. Only 3,000 units will be produced worldwide, sold exclusively through UK retailer Funstock for £199.99 / €239.99 / $249.99.

The bundle includes the Evercade Nexus console dressed in DOOM colors, the big-box DOOM Collection cartridge featuring DOOM and DOOM II plus six official mission packs and a selection of Deathmatch levels, a hard carrying case, a DOOM comic, a commemorative keyring, a double-sided poster, and a numbered certificate of authenticity. The cartridge alone, without the limited console edition, will also be sold separately for £24.99 / €29.99 / $29.99.

A launch timed with the new Evercade generation. The DOOM Edition will release on October 30, 2026, alongside the standard Evercade Nexus console and the Banjo-Kazooie Double Pack cartridge, marking the first time dual analog controls arrive on the Evercade lineup. That should notably expand the range of compatible games benefiting from more modern controls.

With this edition, Blaze is banking on nostalgia for one of gaming's most iconic franchises to spotlight the launch of its new cartridge console generation.
