Evercade's Piko Interactive Collection 1 Is Back In Print

Blaze Entertainment confirmed on 28 August 2026 that Piko Interactive Collection 1 is back in print, reviving one of the most sought-after cartridges in the Evercade catalogue. Released in 2020 among the console's very first titles, it had since moved to the publisher's legacy list, meaning out of production, which pushed its price up considerably on the second-hand market.

The reissued cartridge carries nineteen games instead of the original twenty. Magic Girl has been dropped from the line-up, and Blaze has not publicly explained why. Everything else remains untouched, including the RPG Brave Battle Saga and the action-adventure Nightshade, two titles that did a great deal for this compilation's reputation among owners of the machine.

A first real-world test for Blaze's reprint policy. The publisher had said it was looking into bringing back cartridges that had become scarce and expensive on the secondary market, but had never committed to a timetable. Collection 1 is the first to actually make the jump, with a refreshed sleeve that sets it apart from the original run at a glance, a detail that matters to collectors.
