Jaleco Arcade Collection Vol.1 and Vol.2: 32 Classic 80s and 90s Arcade Games Confirmed for Switch, PS5 and PC

Publisher Gravity Game Arise, working with Jaleco, confirmed on July 7, 2026 the complete lineup for Jaleco Arcade Collection Vol.1 and Vol.2, two compilations first announced back in March and now set for a winter 2026 release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. Each volume gathers 16 arcade titles published by the Japanese studio between the 1980s and 1990s, for a combined total of 32 games.

The first volume highlights titles such as City Connection, Aeroboto, Field Combat, P-47: The Freedom Fighter, Saint Dragon and The Astyanax, while the second volume includes Exerion, Argus, Earth Defense Force, Rod Land and Avenging Spirit among others. Several more titles are expected to be revealed before launch.

According to the Steam listings for both compilations, every game will be offered in its Japanese and overseas versions, alongside a set of modern quality-of-life features: rewind, quick save states with multiple slots, adjustable rapid-fire settings, and button remapping. Considerable care appears to have gone into preserving this Japanese arcade catalogue, much of which remains largely obscure outside Japan.

No exact release date has been given yet beyond the winter 2026 window across all three platforms.
