Krikzz plans an EverDrive for the Neo Geo AES

Good news for Neo Geo AES owners. Krikzz, the Ukrainian developer behind the famous EverDrive (flash cartridges for retro consoles), confirmed via his social networks that he was seriously considering the production of a flash card for the Neo Geo AES.

The Neo Geo AES is the home console version of SNK's Neo Geo arcade system, launched in 1990. Its original games are among the most expensive on the retrogaming market, with some cartridges reaching several thousand euros. A flash cart would allow console owners to play the entire catalog without breaking the bank.

The market is not virgin: Terraonion's NeoSD and a Darksoft solution already exist. But Krikzz's reputation for reliability and value for money could provide a welcome alternative. Its EverDrive already covers the Mega Drive, NES, SNES, Game Boy, N64 and many others.

Krikzz did not confirm a date, but hinted that a release before the end of 2026 would be possible if development goes well. The Neo Geo community follows the subject very closely, as evidenced by the enthusiasm generated by this simple statement.
