Mundialito 2 Brings Retro Football Fever to the Amiga 1200

Independent developer Acneproduction has announced the release of the complete version of Mundialito 2, a homemade football game built for the Amiga 1200 with 2MB of RAM. Coded in BASIC, the project delivers a surprisingly rich retro football experience for a machine of this generation, featuring a World Cup mode with 32 national teams plus four playable European leagues.

Players can choose between a classic mode faithful to 16-bit football games of the era and a faster arcade mode designed for quick joystick matches. The game also includes a selection of stadiums, penalty shootouts, and an AI tuned to offer a real challenge without frustrating casual players.
