Polymega prices go up on October 5, with the base console rising to $599

Playmaji, the company behind the Polymega, is announcing a price revision starting Monday, October 5, 2026. Orders placed before that date will be honoured at current prices: what counts is the order date, not the delivery date.

According to Console Classics, the new prices will be $599 for the base console, $229 for the Polymega Remix, $35 for the RC wired controllers and from $99 for Element modules. Those interchangeable modules are what lets the console read the original cartridges and discs of several machines. The details of the previous prices vary between reports, so the safest move is to check the official site before ordering.

Components and fuel: the bill climbs

Playmaji explains that component prices have risen sharply, largely because data center investment for AI is competing for the same chips and memory as consumer electronics, that higher fuel costs weigh on manufacturing and shipping, and that absorbing those costs is no longer sustainable.
