QUByte ReConnect: The First All-Retro Showcase Reveals Its 2026-2027 Lineup

Brazilian publisher QUByte Interactive held its first-ever QUByte ReConnect on June 18, an online showcase entirely dedicated to retro gaming, streamed simultaneously in Portuguese and English on YouTube. The event revealed around a dozen titles planned for 2026 and 2027 on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, all drawn from the classic arcade catalog.

Among the headline announcements, the Gaelco Sports Collection brings together five 1990s arcade sports games from Spanish developer Gaelco: World Rally Championship, World Rally 2, Snowboard Championship, Squash and Touch and Go, complete with scans of original manuals and period artwork. Biomechanical Toy, Zeus Software's 1995 platformer, returns on July 16, followed by the Thunder Hoop Collection bundling both entries in this Spanish run-and-gun series.

Free PlayStation 1 additions for existing owners

QUByte also announced that PlayStation 1 versions of Glover and Street Racer will be added as free updates to their existing modern console compilations. Additional titles including Invasion from Beyond, Motor Mash and Tiger Shark round out the 2027 lineup. This inaugural ReConnect lays the groundwork for a regular appointment for arcade classic enthusiasts on current platforms. Source: Time Extension
