Retro-Bit relaunches Arcus Odyssey and Psycho Dream in cartridge - 33 years after their Western cancellation

The kind of resurrection we love to see. Retro-Bit has just announced two new physical releases for 2026: Arcus Odyssey and Psycho Dream. Deux jeux 16-bit cultes, deux trajectoires cabossées, et un même parfum de “ce titre n’aurait jamais dû rester coincé là-bas”.

📼 Psycho Dream, enfin en cartouche chez nous

It's obviously Psycho Dream that raises an eyebrow. Released in Japan in 1992 on Super Famicom, this hallucinatory platformer was to be localized in North America under the name Dream Probe, before disappearing from the radar. This time, it does arrive in a SNES cartridge for North America and Europe, with a new English translation and a fully localized manual.

⚔️ Arcus Odyssey too, with a European twist

For its side, Arcus Odyssey returns to Genesis / Mega Drive, and Retro-Bit insists on a delicious detail: this edition marks its first cartridge release in Europe. Both games are sold in collector's editions, with premium packaging, color manual, and limited pre-order window.
