Egret II Mini: Ten Universal And Irem Games For Taito's Arcade Collection PART2

Taito spelled out the contents of Arcade Collection PART2 in late August 2026, the fifth add-on SD card for its Egret II Mini cabinet. It brings together ten arcade games from Universal and Irem, two catalogues that have rarely been reissued in recent years, and goes on sale in Japan on 25 March 2027 for 9,878 yen including tax.

On the Universal side, the line-up covers Lady Bug, Cheeky Mouse, Jumping Jack, Mr. Do vs Unicorn and Snap Jack. From Irem come Yakyuu Kakuto League Man, Thunder Blaster, Perfect Soldiers, Armed Police Gallop (known as Cosmic Cop outside Japan) and, above all, Undercover Cops, the 1992 beat 'em up famous for its post-apocalyptic setting and long hard to reach through legal channels.

The symbolic hundred-game mark. With PART2, the Egret II Mini reaches a cumulative hundred playable titles since launch, add-on cards included. That is a rare figure for a miniature cabinet, whose commercial life has stretched far beyond that of most retro mini consoles launched in the 2010s. Taito also used the occasion to announce three new peripherals for the machine.

The presentation was hosted by voice actress Miyake Marie, joined by Famitsu editor Dedeo, Egret II Mini producer Tetsuo Egawa and Kenichi Ishiguro of the Institute of Game Culture Conservation.
