TRIMUI Officially Unveils the Brick Hammer Pro U and Brick Pro Handhelds

TRIMUI has officially unveiled two new retro handhelds that expand its Brick lineup: the Brick Hammer Pro U, a premium vertical model, and the Brick Pro, a more affordable device meant to replace the current Brick. Both machines keep the compact form factor popularized by the original Brick Hammer, but with very different internals depending on the target audience.

The Brick Hammer Pro U goes all in on power: it packs a 2.4GHz Snapdragon G2 Gen 1 chip paired with an Adreno A21 GPU, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, all running Android. Its 3.95 inch IPS screen offers a 1024x768 resolution at 60Hz for a density of 324 PPI. On the design side, its CNC-machined aluminum shell, available in black, grey or silver, comes with hall-effect joysticks, ALPS buttons, swappable shoulder triggers, USB-C video output and a 6-axis gyroscope.

Powerful enough for PS2 emulation, and a budget Linux sibling already up for pre-order at $99

According to early impressions, the Brick Hammer Pro U could be powerful enough to run some PlayStation 2 games, which would make it one of the most ambitious devices in the brand's lineup. The Brick Pro, on the other hand, targets a wider audience with an Allwinner A133P chip, a PowerVR GE8300 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and a Linux-based OS, housed in a plastic shell available in black, white or retro grey. Pre-orders for the Brick Pro opened on June 13th through MechDIY starting at $99 (around £75), while the Brick Hammer Pro U is slated for July 2026 with no pricing announced yet.
