007 : Licence to Kill
Synopsis
Throughout the 1980s, Domark released adaptations of the “James Bond” franchise films—not necessarily recent ones—that had more or less tenuous connections to each movie. “License to Kill” is the fourth in the series; it coincided with the release of the film, which was the most violent and one of the most unconventional in the series.
It’s a classic shoot ’em up in which the mode of transportation changes with each level. The first section—a vertical-scrolling level aboard a helicopter—is very traditional. The second level, played on foot, is more subtle and requires you to hide and use cunning to avoid enemies. Next come diving, water skiing, and finally a high-speed chase in tanker trucks loaded with gasoline and cocaine.
