Synopsis

After a devastating atomic war between the United States and the Soviet Union, Earth descended into chaos and destruction in the 1990s. It was not until the mid-21st century that humanity began to recover from its losses. The Earth was virtually abandoned, and representatives of the most powerful countries focused on space colonization projects. The Americans founded an organization called NSCA (National Space Colonized Association). Their project, SC (Space Colony), was an enormous tower, comparable to the mythical Tower of Babel. This is also where the game's protagonist lives, who returns after long journeys in space and soon finds himself embroiled in a complex struggle between countries and political organizations. The fifth installment in System Sacom's Novel Ware series, 38000 Kilo no Kokū is essentially a visual novel.
