Synopsis

The goal is to get the highest score possible before running out of moves. When you move the joystick, all blocks with space move ONE space in that direction. When a moving block of value 3 or more encounters a stationary block of the same value, they combine to create a block with double value. Unlike 2048, blocks containing 1 or 2 can only combine with each other and not with themselves, so it is important to monitor them and ensure that 1 or 2 are not grouped together, filling the grid. Each time you make a move, a new block is randomly placed on the opposite edge of the grid from the direction you moved the blocks. So if you move all the blocks to the left, a new block will appear on the right side of the grid. To help with planning, the next new block to be placed on the grid is displayed at the top right of the screen.
