Synopsis

Flight Simulator 47 allows the player to take control of a Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet. The upper part of the screen displays a simplified exterior view (horizon, runway), while the lower part shows the instrument panel (airspeed indicator, variometer, altimeter, artificial horizon, compass, turn and bank indicator, ILS, flap and landing gear indicators, various dials for the engines). After indicating the amount of fuel and the number of passengers, the player can attempt a takeoff, a direct approach or a random approach. The included map depicts Great Britain and includes seven airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Prestwick.
