Synopsis

The game places the player in control of a railway company. A-Train III is the first game in the series to use quasi-isometric dimetric projection. There are 2 types of transportation that the player's company can take: passengers or construction materials.
The 1st is more profitable, but the building materials allow the city to develop. Wherever building materials are delivered, they can be used to build. Starting with houses, but eventually, as an area develops, roads, shops etc. are constructed. These can provide additional revenue for a passenger service, but allowing the city to grow can also be seen as a goal. In addition to computer-constructed buildings, in response to the materials present, the player can construct their own buildings.
