Synopsis

Adventure Construction Set (ACS) is video game creation software in the style of the Ultima role-playing game. It includes a graphics editor for creating world maps, placing enemies, objects and events. A game can contain up to 250 accessible locations, 500 NPCs and 5000 objects. Once completed, the game can be saved to be played without the ACS software and thus easily shared with friends. ACS came with a full game, Rivers of Light, comparable to other role-playing games available at the time. The software also included other sample games illustrating its possibilities.
