Synopsis

A text adventure written by Linda Wright.

The player plays someone who has just become the happy owner of a chalet. It hasn't been inhabited for ages, as the previous owner disappeared - disappeared without a trace, so it's in a bit of a dilapidated state. Your own furniture isn't due to arrive for a while, so you grab a camp bed and head to Bluebell Cottage to take stock and start cleaning. Luckily, you also bought some furniture with the house, so the place isn't so empty.

The cottage isn't the only thing you bought, the house comes with land containing a small lake and an abandoned mill, which is the "madness" mentioned in the title.
