Synopsis

Ai Senshi Nicol, or "Love Warrior Nicol", tells the story of Nicol, whose girlfriend Stella is abducted by a Metroid-like alien during one of their romantic walks. The kidnapping is told in a hilarious, punctuated intro cutscene by Engrish. Nicol decides to take on the alien race to save Stella, and to do so will have to navigate a bunch of maze-like levels, collecting power-ups and hitting switches to progress. Your goal in each stage is to collect three different diamonds to power your hovercraft to the next sector, many of which are guarded by bosses.
