Synopsis

Released from the Banpresto studios in 1996, Air Gallet goes relatively unnoticed in the Shoot Em Up family. It's similar to an Aero Fighters but more "serious". 4 types of weapons available (a basic frontal shot, a very effective laser, a frontal plus missiles and a sort of hunter not very effective for my taste...) which increase in level by picking up "P", knowing that 4 "P" are equal to a higher weapon level. Two types of bombs (green which sweeps the entire screen, and blue which "targets" a specific part) are also there. The production is of good quality and the 6 levels are long, well detailed graphically with a fairly tough difficulty. Music-wise, apart from that of the bosses that we remember, we hear the rhythm and... uh, we forget the rest. In the end Air Gallet is a pretty good game, very well made, without major weak points but without a touch of genius.
