Synopsis

Years ago, a quest you undertook, Malhek, in the Demon Dungeons of Cail went wrong. Just as you were about to die, you were rescued. The magician Aliard had entered the Dungeons with his Grimoire of Magic Spells and had managed to find you and bring you back safely outside. Unfortunately, the Grimoire was lost and, years later, Aliard, aging and weakened, needs the Grimoire to cast the Rebirth Spell and save his life. In thanks, you have vowed to return to the Dungeons to retrieve the book, but the monsters and creatures are more powerful than ever and the lanterns that once lit the way have gone out, plunging the place into darkness.
