All-Star Baseball 2002
Synopsis
All-Star Baseball 2002 includes the complete MLBPA rosters for the 2001-2002 seasons. You can choose to play as one of the current teams or go back in time and play as players such as Nolan Ryan or Reggie Jackson. You can also create your own player and/or team.
The game modes offered are Quick Play, Exhibition, All-Star Game, Season, Series, Home Run Derby and Batting Practice. Typing is done using the cursor and you can choose between a power strike or a contact strike. For the latter, you have even more options, such as trying to hit to the opposite field. Striking is similar in that you choose your striking style (each athlete can have up to six in their repertoire) and then you choose the location. Field play can be automatic or manual.
