Synopsis

In Almazz, the player plays an explorer traveling across a vast African savannah in search of the Almazz diamond before time runs out. The hero cools down by walking, but running causes his body temperature to rise, reaching a critical threshold and ending the game. A water bottle allows him to hydrate, but his water reserves must be replenished at water points. Dangers such as javelin throwers and lions complicate the quest. The lions attack as soon as they detect the player's presence, and any attack or blow received results in the end of the game. The player is armed, but can only reload ammo in huts, which takes time. Puzzles, items, and tablet fragments aid the search, and after finding the diamond, one final puzzle must be solved.
