Synopsis

ALONE is a short game of around 20 minutes created on June 7 (2015), in just 8 hours, by 'iddalai' for the 'RMN Birthday 2015' event organized on 'rpgmaker.net'

It deals with the frustrations you can find on Internet forums. While using many RPG features, it feels more like a puzzle game with trial and error and a bit of metroidvania like exploration.

The game actually wasn't supposed to have a name, but it became ALONE.

The design of the dungeon was inspired by "The Heroe II" (classic Spanish RM2K game created by "uva_r") and "The Legend of Zelda".
"Three Cheers for the Strawman" (by Red_Nova) also inspired the author, to improve ALONE and publish this short game.

The revamped version was released in March 2016, with a few extra hours of gameplay and a new secret to discover.
