Synopsis

Amidar, it's a bit like Pac-Man meets Qix: the goal is to repaint predefined rectangles where in Qix the player was free to draw his painted shapes.
In the first level, you control a gorilla who collects pellets along the way while repainting the boxes and avoiding characters armed with a spear. If he paints all four corners of the playing area, he becomes invulnerable for a while. Then follow a bonus level and the second level which gets tougher. In fact, the paint roller that is then directed can only paint squares adjacent to those already painted. The game repeats beyond this 2nd level.
Likeable especially for his melodies.
