Synopsis

You play as Annabel Gray, a Southern belle during the Civil War. Ever since you were a child, your ambition has been to become a nurse. At eighteen, you secured a position in the nursing corps. After the first shots were fired at Fort Sumter, signaling the start of the Civil War to a devastated America, you were in Washington, D.C., where you continued to fulfill the demanding duties of a war nurse. In the spring of 1863, shortly after the Battle of Fredericksburg, you received a letter smuggled through Union lines from South Carolina. Your mother’s letter weighs heavily on your mind. She writes that the war has taken a heavy toll on South Carolina and that General Sherman’s army has caused widespread devastation.
