Synopsis

Apocalypse was produced under license from Games Workshop. It was first published by Red Shift and re-released in 1987 by Command Software. It is a turn-based strategy game, based on the Games Workshop board game. Players have multiple territories on a map and must conquer lands. The game has several phases: in the deployment phase, players can build army divisions, warships and long-range nuclear missiles on locations they already occupy. In the movement phase, players can maneuver forces and engage in conventional combat. The nuclear phase is the only opportunity to launch nuclear weapons. The game has no CPU opponents and is multiplayer only. Up to 4 players are supported.
