Synopsis

Archon II: Adept is an action-strategy game developed by Jon Freeman, Paul Reiche III and Anne Westfall of Free Fall Associates, and published by Electronic Arts for various platforms.
Successor to the game Archon, Archon II: Adept features a more complex game board and improved gameplay.
Each side plays as Adept - a powerful sorcerer with the ability to cast spells against other Adepts and summons - and must defeat the other side, called either Chaos or Order, by attacking them with Elements or summoning Daemons. Each side can summon 4 unique Elements at a time or choose from 4 Demons, common to both players.
Gameplay is similar to the original Archon game, reminiscent of a chess board, requiring strategy, but adding arcade elements, especially when two Adepts face off against each other. The game board also changes from time to time, making the strategy less predictable.
