Synopsis

Ardy the Aardvark is a maze game inspired by the arcade game Anteater, of which it is almost a clone. The player controls the animal's tongue as it moves through an underground maze. The objective is to eat drops of food scattered underground while avoiding worms, poisonous ants and spiders. If the worms can pass through the tongue and only kill the aardvark if they directly touch its tip, the other creatures instantly kill the player at the slightest contact with the tongue. The deepest levels of the Underground Maze usually contain two special items that eliminate all enemies from the screen if touched by Ardy's tongue.
