Synopsis

An evil being known as Ligar is set to conquer the land of Argool. Its power is such that no living creature dares to cross its path. But the legendary warrior Rygar rises from his grave to restore peace and justice. Armed with his famous Diskarmor weapon, Rygar begins crossing the vast lands that lead to the demon's lair, while his minions try in vain to stop him... The player controls the titular hero and advances through stages populated by hostile creatures. Besides the Diskarmor, the hero can use other weapons, including projectiles that can be fired in four directions. Various powers are scattered throughout the levels and can be collected. These powers have the effect of increasing the firepower of the equipped weapon, adding time to the timer, ensuring temporary invisibility, giving additional points, etc.
