Synopsis

The game's storyline revisits classic elements: the racket becomes the Vaus spaceship, the ball transforms into an energy projectile, and the bricks form a mysterious wall that blocks progress towards safety. By the mid-80s, power-ups had already become essential in most arcade games, and Arkanoid was no exception. These bonuses appear in the form of falling capsules that must be intercepted by placing the ship underneath. Be careful though: rushing to catch them can cause you to miss the energy projectile and lose a life. Among the available bonuses, we find in particular lasers (mounted on each side of the ship, allowing blocks to be destroyed directly), a capture system (which temporarily holds the projectile in order to relaunch it according to the chosen angle), or even a device which slows down its speed. Note that this disc also offers an unofficial level editor, offering the possibility of creating your own challenges.
