Description
Astro Wars was produced by Zaccaria in 1979. The game is a licensed clone of Data East's Astro Fighter, but on less capable hardware and with poorer sound capabilities. For this reason, Data East's title was much more successful, and this version is not popular at all.
Vertical scrolling shooter with five waves of enemies advancing across the screen. The addition of a fuel limit adds to the urgency of the game, requiring you to eliminate all enemies in each wave in order to reach the final level with enough fuel.
