Synopsis

Demo version of AstroRock 2000, shooting game published by Logicware in 1998 on Macintosh. It takes the principle of Asteroids by dressing it up with an assumed rock'n'roll argument: extraterrestrials from the Bee Gee cluster undertake to rid the galaxy of rock, and pilot Zed Nepher, recovered from a hangover, returns to service to prevent them. The game grants a generous arsenal and numerous bonuses, where the 1979 original made do with a cannon. It follows AstroRock, published in 1996, whose content it expands at the cost of abandoning Macintoshes with 68k processors: this version requires a PowerPC.
