Description
The Atari System 1 is an arcade card developed by Atari Games in 1983, one of the first to use a modular architecture reusable for several games with paged memory management. It is based on a Motorola 68000 processor associated with dedicated graphics and sound processors. Iconic titles like Marble Madness, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom or Paperboy have run on this platform. This BIOS handles system booting and interfacing with interchangeable game cartridges.
