Synopsis

Atomic Robo-Kid is a side-scrolling shoot 'em up in which the player controls the eponymous robot. The robot has a laser that can evolve by collecting bonuses left by certain enemies. Each new weapon obtained is added to the available weapons, the player can select their weapon among them at any time by pressing the B button. Four different weapons can be collected. The robot's fire follows the direction of movement, to the right or left of the screen. In some multi-directional scrolling levels, the shot remains horizontal.
