Synopsis

A mix of Tempest and Asteroids, Axis Assassin puts you in control of a spaceship traveling through a series of grids, annihilating the Arachnid Master and his army. Armed only with lasers and a single "Pulse Bomb" per level (which eliminates all enemies on screen), your ship can move vertically across the grid, avoiding enemies and their webs. Destroy all the enemies and you will be sucked down the grid to access the next level. Trigger a Pulse Bomb when the Arachnid Master appears and you will be transported to the Nest, where you have a chance to gain an additional ship.
