Synopsis

Faced with humanity's technological advancements during the Meiji Restoration, most Youkai renounced their powers and chose to live among humans and blend in. However, years later, their descendants manifested some of their powers. They were quickly branded monsters and isolated from the rest of Japan in the town of Kamizawa. The most dangerous of them were even placed on an unknown island. Takabe Ryouichi was one of those sent to this island at the age of five. The story is: he and a girl named Suzu, his only friend on the island, escape to Kamizawa Town to live a normal life. What they didn't expect was that Suzu carried a secret that attracted a lot of unwanted attention...
