Synopsis

In B-1 Nuclear Bomber, you have to fly a B-1 bomber to its destination and destroy the mission target. You enter text commands to control altitude, heading, radar, armament, and more. of your bomber. Of course, the USSR will try to prevent you from bombing its targets with an arsenal of MiGs and surface-to-air missiles. You can counter them with electronic countermeasures, evasive maneuvers, or by shooting them down. The game ends when it reaches a logical conclusion: either dropping your bombs and getting far enough away, returning to base, or being destroyed. A brief summary is then displayed, as well as the option to start again. While most versions of the game were text-only, the C64 and Atari 8-bit versions also featured graphics on some screens.
