Baten Kaitos Origins
Synopsis
Baten Kaitos Origins is a prequel to Baten Kaitos: The Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean. Long ago, the evil god Malpercio attempted to destroy the other gods; a great battle of the gods ensued, and as a result of this, the people of the world were forced to flee to various islands floating in the sky. 1000 years after the war, people live in peace in the sky for the most part; but Emperor Olgen, the emperor of one of these islands, began a plot to take control of all the islands.
The main character of the story is Sagi, a spirit-born individual who was given a secret mission to assassinate Emperor Olgen. As in Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean, it is not Sagi that you control in the game, but her tutelary spirit. Throughout the game, you can give advice to Sagi, and as you progress, the story unfolds and reveals the plot that could threaten all the islands...
