Synopsis

Batman: Arkham Knight is an action-adventure game and the fourth mainline game in the Batman: Arkham series based on the DC Comics superhero Batman. It takes place one year after the events of the second Batman: Arkham City game. It begins when Scarecrow forces the evacuation of Gotham City by threatening to release a fear toxin.

The game takes place in an open world environment for Arkham City with main missions, side missions and the Riddler's trophies which can be pursued freely. Familiar gameplay elements return, such as numerous melee combat sections, the use of gadgets and stealth abilities, and detective skills to examine clues in the environment and solve puzzles. Gadgets are used in both combat and exploration. Many of them are from previous games. Exploration is mainly done by long flights with the cape.
