Description

If Batsugun is often cited as being the father of "manic shooters", it is in reality thanks to this Special Version. Indeed the game has been slightly revised, and the sprite collision masks have become very small. This particularity will then be found in all the shoot'em ups of the Cave company, founded by former Toaplan employees. Batsugun Special Version was presented at the AOU (Arcade Operators Union) show in 1994 in Japan but was never officially released due to the bankruptcy of the Toaplan company. We can play it today because the prototype of this version has been found and preserved.
