Synopsis

The story takes place in a forest, where the evil "Count Wolf" has kidnapped all the creatures, except for an old rabbit. A tanuki warrior from outside, trained in kung fu, is passing through, and Grandma Rabbit begs him to use his strength to find the wolf's castle and save all the villagers.

The game plays out like a standard side-scroller, in which you fight monkeys, flamingos, and other woodland creatures. It may not be obvious, but the game world is quite vast and complex, since it contains more than 400 screens. The entire world is laid out on a grid, with several horizontal paths that are positioned parallel to each other. As you run through the levels, you'll find arrows that represent where you can jump to other areas.
