Synopsis

The Battle of Antietam is a large-scale tactical simulation chronicling the bloodiest day of the Civil War, which took place in the small town of Sharpsburg, Maryland, along Antietam Creek. The game is played in 11 rounds, each representing one hour of real time. Players score points based on losses and territorial objectives. At the end of each round and at the end of the game, points are calculated and compared to a table to determine victory level. The game offers three game modes (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced), each offering five difficulty levels. It is possible to play against another player or against the computer, which can embody one side or the other.
