Synopsis

Battle of the Bands is the ultimate musical rhythm game exclusively for Wii. The story takes place in a fictional world gone mad, where bands fight for musical supremacy using weaponized instruments. Includes 30 licensed tracks from today's hottest bands that can each be played in 5 different music genres (Rock, Country, Marching Band, Hip Hop and Ranchero) with 70 weapons and special attacks.

In each game, a song will play in one genre for about 10-15 seconds, then another, alternating back and forth. Points are earned through beat-matching, and successive matches will automatically launch novel weapons such as a smoke bomb, land mine, and flip-out. The more points you earn, the more music will be played in the player's genre. The game can be played in versus mode, perfect for social and board games, or in adventure mode where the player engages in combat against groups of other genres, one by one. Two groups enter. A group leaves.
