Synopsis

Battle Space is a space shooter, the first game from Akson Software. The player takes on the role of a spaceship pilot named Roger Ptak, providing transport escort services. The Babylonian system was attacked by the Vandal race. The pilot receives an offer to join a defensive army in exchange for an intergalactic battleship and a large sum of money. The player controls the ship fighting wave after wave of enemy attacks. The ship can be moved right or left, fire missiles or launch a single mine. Enemies attack and move in different ways, including attacking from the bottom of the screen. They have different shield strength and firepower. Power-ups are marked as different colored wings, depending on what they add, including an extra ship, extra shields and mines, or increased firepower.
