Trama

In a world where magic reigns, the Umbra Witches, mistresses of dark forces, clash with the Lumen Sages, defenders of light. Bayonetta, a seductive woman with a strong character and magical powers, is the last to master the secrets of the Umbra. Twenty years earlier, she awakens in a coffin submerged at the bottom of a lake. It is discovered by Luka's father, a journalist pursuing Bayonetta because he is convinced she is responsible for his father's death, which occurred under mysterious circumstances. Unable to remember her past, Bayonetta continues to fight against angels to survive, aided by Enzo, her favorite informant, and Rodin, a demon armorer and owner of a bar called the Gates of Hell.
