Synopsis

Beastball is a previously unreleased Sega MegaDrive sports game. It is a console adaptation of the 1993 Amiga title Brutal Football / Crazy Football (ported to the Amiga CD32 in 1994, IBM PC in 1995 and to the Atari Jaguar in 1994 as Brutal Sports Football). Beastball was also planned for the Super Nintendo, but was canceled at the time of this MegaDrive adaptation's release.

A prototype has since been made showing an almost finished game. Both the MegaDrive and Super Nintendo versions were announced in North America in late 1993, for launch either at Christmas of that year or in early 1994. The MegaDrive version had also been sent in small quantities to the press for testing.

Despite its development in Europe, there appear to be no plans in place to distribute Beastball outside of North America.
