Synopsis

You are Barney the clown and your goal is to entertain the crowd in the circus with four acts (increasing difficulty). You can choose any act to play as well as the number of lives, difficulty and vary the score. The acts you perform are all seen from the side and are as follows:
Act 1: You must walk on a tightrope for 100m in a limited time with the screen constantly scrolling. Monkeys and fire hoops appear, the monkeys must be stepped over and the hoops jumped through.
Act 2: You must collect ten balloons while avoiding being hit by the strong man, Otto, who walks around the screen.
Act 3: You are on a unicycle and you must ride it 100 m in a limited time, the screen constantly scrolls from right to left.
Act 4: The final act takes place on a single screen. You bounce on one of three trampolines but you can jump from one to another to collect keys.
